Home decorators get in the big picture

Modern home owners are adding the ultimate personal touch to their empty wall spaces by hanging bold canvas artworks featuring their loved ones.

Pascoe said people are looking for something 'unique and edgy' to feature on their walls.

"We've seen a rise in orders of canvases over a metre wide, where the customer clearly has an interior design vision for the portrait in their room. The pieces this large look incredible," he said.

"It's always so rewarding to see a small low-res photo of someone's treasured moment transformed into a huge canvas. And the pop art style really gives the image a timeless quality that will last a lifetime," he said.
