PINpoint: Time to start Schnapping

It's time to put aside all thoughts of cheap and worrisome 6 x 4 prints, grey imports and reduced margins and concentrate on submitting your entry(ies) for our wunderbar "Schnapp your way to Germany with Adeal" contest.

It's so easy to enter and you can send in as many entries as you like.

All you have to do is take of photo of one three branded products from the Adeal stable and add a German flavour to the image and email it to me at barrieparsons@yaffa.com.au. The featured brands are:

- Leica

- Manfrotto

- Kata

First prize is a trip to the world's largest photography and imaging event - Photokina, to be held in September 2010 in Cologne. The contest is being conducted by Photo & Imaging News in association with Adeal and exhibition organiser Koelmesse GmbH.

Held every two years, Photokina is the leading trade fair worldwide for the photo and imaging industry, where the latest trends and technologies involved in the capturing, storage, processing and output of images are showcased under one roof. Photokina 2010 will feature more than 1300 exhibitors from around 50 countries and attract more than 160,000 visitors.

The prize includes:

- Return airfare to Germany from any capital city in Australia.

- Four star accommodation.

- VIP access to Photokina.

- VIP treatment at the Leica, Kata and Manfrotto stands at Photokina.

- Exclusive tour of the Leica factory in Germany.

Selected entries in the competition will be published in the PIN email newsletter, on the PIN website www.photoandimagingnews.com.au and in Photo & Imaging News magazine.

The winner will be announced on August 6, 2010.
