New PMA rep for NZ

Garth Burleigh, a well-known photo imaging veteran, was named PMA regional representative for New Zealand. Burleigh replaces Maryanne Dransfield, who steps down from the position following 27 years of outstanding service to PMA.

“Maryanne did a superb job for nearly three decades developing and maintaining a solid membership base for PMA New Zealand,” noted Ted Fox, PMA executive director. “Her dedication was truly amazing, and she will be sorely missed. We are fortunate to have Garth coming on board with us, with his passion and tremendous background he has with the imaging industry. PMA New Zealand will be in good hands.”

Burleigh’s imaging background includes working as a police photographer (15 years) for the Police National Colour Laboratory. More recent, Burleigh worked as a product specialist for Eastman Kodak before accepting a key management role at Hanimex (NZ) Ltd, later to become part of worldwide operations for Fujifilm. He also served on the board of directors of the Sales and Marketing Institute of New Zealand.
