PMA News: PMA provides photo retailers with videos for consumers

PMA – The Worldwide Community of Imaging Associations – is offering free videos for PMA member retailers to embed in their websites.

These consumer-oriented videos provide retailers with helpful tips and tricks for their photo enthusiast customers.

PMA member retailers can now embed these videos into their websites for those photo enthusiasts and customers. The photo tips video player can be embedded into any website in five simple steps, which are demonstrated in an easy-to-follow tutorial on the PMA website.

These helpful video clips are targeted at photo enthusiasts to encourage a better picture-taking experience.

Topics include:
• Photography do’s and don’ts
• The importance of cropping
• Top 10 photography tips
• How to get a unique shot of tourist icons

Hosting the videos is Erin Manning, a professional photographer, teacher and TV personality living in Los Angeles.

Viewers know Manning as the digital photography expert and host of the HGTV and DIY Network’s award-winning TV series The Whole Picture. She has also appeared as the techno-lifestyle guru on ‘Enable Your Home’ and is author of ‘Portrait and Candid Photography’, published by Wiley.

Manning helps people understand photography and technology by translating technical mumbo-jumbo into everyday words and by facilitating their learning with a clear, friendly teaching style.

Also hosting the videos is Jim Everett, who has extensive customer training background in the technology industry and has advised leading consumer technology companies on customer support strategies.

A photographer for 25 years, Everett has worked in Australia with wedding, portrait and school photography. As a local photographic artist, Everett exhibited his works in the summer Hermosa Art Walks in Los Angeles. Everett’s energetic yet easy-going presentation style makes it easy for the average photo enthusiast to learn new and creative concepts.
