U.R. The Star goes local

U.R. The Star DVD Australia has announced that all production for its range of photo-personalised DVDs will be done in-house in Australia from February.

DVDs were previously produced in the US through parent company Sentimental Journeys with the DVDs for Australia and New Zealand being express posted to Australia weekly.

"With our new in-house software, U.R. The Star DVD Australia will be able to offer customers a much faster turnaround for each of our eight titles," chief executive Karen Bohringer said.

U.R. The Star takes an e-mailed photo and turns the customer into a 'star' in their own animated, 3D cartoon adventure.
