Ballarat International Foto Biennale

Australia’s largest and most important international contemporary photographic event. It is expected that BIFB’09 will attract an audience in excess of 40,000 to a range of around 150 separate photographic
events throughout Ballarat and the Hepburn Shire in rural Victoria.

The Core Program Exhibitions will be spread over 7 venues including the Art Gallery of Ballarat, the Mining Exchange, the Gold Museum, the Trades Hall, the Ballarat Contemporary Art Space, the Town Hall and the Post Office Gallery. With the exception of the Gold Museum, all the Core program venues are within 5 minutes walk of each other.
