This week saw the 75th anniversary of George Eastmans death pass by virtually unnoticed.
It is interesting how times have changed. A TV piece on the event stated the following:
"It's not an anniversary we mark on our calendars, but 75 years ago today George Eastman died. Not that long ago this was an official day of mourning in Rochester and at Eastman Kodak, but today it's all but forgotten."

Good to see somewon remembered this important anniversary. No matter what people may say about Kodak today they were for a long long time the industry leader. I have fond memories of my visits to Rochester and how much I learnt and how well all the staff looked after me.I alwatys said that one day I would work for Koday but this did not happen. I was offered a job with Kodak in South Africa in 1976 but choose to come to Australia instead.Good on you George you will be remembered.
