Aussie Passport Regulations online

We have been advised by DFAT that the guidelines for taking passports are now posted to their website :

https://www.passports.gov.au/Web/Requirements/PhotographGuidelines.aspx 

Under the website you will see :

1) Photographic Guidelines -- A general, easy to follow guideline.

2) Passport Photo Guide -- details of the checker gauge are included.

3) Information Index and Useful Links -- Click on "guidelines for the Photographic Industry”. This gives a more detailed outline of requirements.

The availability of this information should by now, be relayed to local post offices. My suggestion would be to visit your local PO to advise them of the above.

Members would know this development has been a long time coming, so hopefully it will help remove the "redo's " that have been experienced.
