Canon's new EOS 60D previewed at IFA

The world’s biggest consumer electronics show IFA concludes in Berlin tomorrow with most major camera suppliers packing up for the trip to Cologne, the venue for Photokina (September 21-26).
Canon previewed its much-anticipated EOS 60D at IFA while Sony announced the first of its new 3D projectors. Panasonic showcased its new SDT750 barrel-shaped HD camcorder.
The EOS 60D digital SLR offers users an array of new creative options including a vari-angle screen, creative filters and Full HD video capture with ‘movie crop’ feature.
Replacing the EOS 50D, the EOS 60D sits between the EOS 550D and EOS 7D and is aimed at users stepping up from an entry-level DSLR, as well as for compact users desiring more creative options and higher image quality.
Sony’s new 3D projector series starts with the VW90ES model, featuring full HD.
IFA is expected attract more than 200,000 visitors, around the double the number of attendees to the CES show in Las Vegas held earlier this year. However, CES normally has double the number of exhibitors as IFA.
