Largest-ever photo forum to be held in October

The Australian Institute of Professional Photography will host a major photography forum involving more than 20 professional presenters in October.

The inaugural Nikon AIPP Event, claimed to be the largest photo forum ever held in the Asia-Pacific region, will highlight “future directions for and challenges” faced by all aspects of the photographic industry.

The event will be held at the Twin Waters Resort from October 17 to 21.

“Over the last ten to fifteen years, particularly through the introduction of digital photography, we have experienced massive changes to our profession,’ according to AIPP executive officer Peter Myers.

Speakers at the event include 23 professionals covering topics from travel, portrait, 3D photography, editorial and publishing, the business of photography, architecture, film photography and fashion.

In addition to major sponsor Nikon, other sponsors include L&P, DES and Epson and Kayell.
