LifePics has released a new template engine that it claims offers consumers the “widest selection of templated photo products available”.
“While building this new template engine we really put ourselves in the consumers’ shoes and developed new features that we know people wanted but couldn’t find anywhere online,” said LifePics marketing vice-president Ken McDonald said.
“I’ve played on most other template engines out there and this new LifePics innovation is way ahead in its functionality and flexibility.” said Photo Direct’s Steuart Meers.
“Our existing customers - including Ted’s - will immediately enjoy the benefits of this new development.” Meantime, Photo Direct has waived its set-up fee for its business partners until August 15 for its online printing service.
“Stores can be online within four weeks of signing to get a co-branded, photofinishing web site, customised marketing tactics, customer support and the only open platform in the imaging industry,” Meers said.
Consumers that use your site receive free, unlimited storage for archiving their images, unique sharing capabilities, social networking, customer support, regular offers plus hundreds of creative photo products such as mugs, t-shirts, mouse pads, photo books, calendars, canvas and custom framing.
