LUMIX Life contest attracts 7100 entries

Panasonic has received more than 7000 entries in its LUMIX Life photography promotion, in which amateur photographers have submitted images in the hope will appear alongside those of professionals in the latest ‘Focus on Australia’ book.

Panansonic ‘ambassador’ Ken Duncan and fellow judges will announce the winners on August 9.

LUMIX, Panasonic Australia marketing communications manager Matthew Mannall said :

“We are thrilled not only with the number of entries that have been submitted, but also by the fantastic quality of the photos. It is going to be extremely difficult to select the winning images, with so many incredible entries submitted this year.”

Selected winning images will be included in a coffee table book alongside photos from the LUMIX Life 'Pro Shooters', including Duncan, Peter Eastway, Bill Bachman, Leo Meier, Nick Rains, Frances Mocnik, Ted Grambeau, Hugh Brown and journalist Ray Martin.
