NSW Fair Work Update

NSW employers and their employees previously covered by the NSW state award system (mainly sole traders and partnerships) have moved into the national workplace relations system. Transitional arrangements are now in place for businesses previously operating under the NSW industrial relations system.   

NSW Industrial Relations is providing regular information updates to assist NSW private sector employers and their workers to understand how the changes will affect them.

Well-written guidelines help employers manage staff more effectively by defining acceptable behaviour as well as highlighting the consequences of not complying with those policies.
