Retravision Southern heads its brand in a new direction

 

Retravision Southern has appointed a new advertising agency to “drive the retail group’s brand in a new direction”.
Melbourne-based Clemenger Harvie Edge (CHE) is the new creative agency while OMD has been appointed to handle media across three markets - Victoria, Tasmania and southern NSW.
CHE and OMD replace Balance Advertising and Marketing Communications Australia (MCA) respectively . Balance was responsible the group’s long-running ‘going the extra mile ‘ campaign.
Retravision Southern CEO, Tim Cockayne, said in a statement:  “Balance is a terrific agency and our business has achieved great success from our creative relationship during the past five years.
“We are looking forward to building these new partnerships as Retravision moves into the next era of its growth as one of Australia’s leading electrical goods retailers,” he said.
According to advertising trade magazine Ad News, Retravision had a main media spend of $5.1 million in the 12 months to February, down from $9.3 million in the previous corresponding period.
