Tasco adds jill-e bags to accessories line-up

Tasco Sales has been appointed the sole distributor of jill-e designs camera bags in Australia.

Tasco general manager sales - digital cameras division Stewart Pickersgill said the “functional yet fashionable bags from jill-e designs” introduce something completely new to the Australian market.

Pickersgill said the US-based owners and creators of jill-e designs, Jill Wight and Gail Backal, began as advocates for all the female photographers who have been limited to the masculine look and feel of camera bags on offer until now.

“Two years ago, after meeting thousands of women who longed for fashion and colour to balance the functionality of camera bags, the two former Kodak executives decided to act,” he said.

The jill-e designs bags, showcased at this year’s PMA expo, will be promoted to consumer via a national PR campaign.
