Fair Work in NSW Videos

NSW employers and their employees previously covered by the NSW state award system (mainly sole traders and partnerships) have moved into the national workplace relations system. Transitional arrangements are now in place for businesses previously operating under the NSW industrial relations system.
 
NSW Industrial Relations is providing regular information updates to assist NSW private sector employers and their workers to understand how the changes will affect them.
 
Fair Work - Notice of termination and redundancy
The National Employment Standards provide specific notice periods and severance pay amounts in relation to notice of termination and redundancy pay.
 
Fair Work videos assist NSW employers and their staff

NSW Industrial Relations has developed two videos to assist NSW private sector employers and their staff.  The videos outline practical information on the key workplace changes including:

  • unfair dismissals and redundancies
