(mainly sole traders and partnerships) have moved into the national workplace
relations system. Transitional arrangements are now in place for
businesses previously operating under the NSW
industrial relations system.
NSW Industrial Relations is providing regular information updates to assist NSW
private sector employers and their workers to understand how the changes will
affect them.
Fair Work - Notice of termination and redundancy
The National Employment Standards provide specific notice periods and severance
pay amounts in relation to notice of
termination and redundancy pay.
