Canon has introduced four new imagePROGRAF large format printers designed for use in technical applications, including CAD and GIS markets.
The 24-inch imagePROGRAF iPF650 and iPF655 and the 36-inch iPF750 and iPF755 models will be available from July.
Specially designed to meet the demands of the Geographical Information System (GIS); Computer-Aided Design (CAD); Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC); reprographics; and other technical document markets, the iPF650/iPF655 machines can print an A1 image in 30 seconds, while the iPF750/iPF755 printers can output an A0 sheet in 48 seconds.
“The launch of these printers raises the number of Canon machines in the CAD and GIS arena to seven and indicates our on-going push to increase market share in the A1 and A0 technical sectors,” said, Canon marketing manager – office imaging products, Jeremy Plint.
