World’s first contactless photo frame
One of the imaging highlights at this year’s IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin was the JOBO digital picture frame with contactless operation.
The PLANO 10 Gestic is claimed to be the world’s first contactless digital picture frame, presenting digital pictures on a 26.4 centimetre, high definition display.
It has a built-in sensor that enables functions to be carried out by basic hand movements, without having to touch the picture frame.
By moving a hand or a finger the user can scroll forward to the next picture, or backwards to the previous one. The functions are activated without any contact taking place, by simply moving the fingers at a distance of up to 15 centimetres from the screen.
The PLANO 10 Gestic can also play music and videos.
